Do I Need Some Sort of Collection to get useful information out of "Today in Christian History"?

I've noticed when I click on the "Today in Christian History" I never get any useful information out of it. Do I lack resources? Or is there just not that much information provided?

    I've assumed that there is much linkage left to be done on the date/events.
