Bug: Glitch on Mobile App when using function 'Split this Tile'

When using the 'Split this Tile' function on my phone, swiping down to close the lower tile would cause the remaining tile to no longer function. It is simply blank with the search bar being unusable, however the toolbar was still there and functional. You will have to close the tile in question as the only way for it to regain function is to restart the app. When repeating the action of swiping down to close the tile, there were two occasions where neither the search bar nor toolbar was there so the only option was to restart the app if that was the only tile open(swiping to the left or right to other tiles was still functional).

  • The problem happens only when you do that specific action. Swiping it up to close the upper tab does not repeat the error. Neither does clicking the ellipsis to pick option "close tab".

    Hi Athwon

I've just tried this on my iPhone and it seems to work fine.

What device are you using and what did you have in the two tiles before trying to close one?

    I am using iOS, OnePlus.

I've tried using various stuff for the tiles so it does not seem it is tied to that.  I've used different bible translations, sermons, text comparison, notes, books and study bibles.

What I can say is that I tried it again and it is not happening consistently anymore.  It also seems that it most likely happens when there's scrolling.  Simply splitting the tile then closing it did not repeat the error.  However when I started scrolling, sometimes I see the screen become blank for a moment then the text comes back when I swipe to close the tile.

The error came up a few times after I scrolled one of the tiles or while a tile was still scrolling.  It looks as if the tile doesn't properly load at times.
