Experience with ONYX BOOX Poke 4 Lite?
Hallo,
I would like to buy an e-ink e-reader with Google Play for the logos app. I'm on a tight budget, so I was looking at the onyx boox Poke 3. But now a saw that they just released the poke 4 Lite. The poke 3 has better hardware, but as far as I could find it had only android 10. The poke 4 Lite had android 11.
Does anyone have experience with the poke 4 Lite and the logos app on it?
Or maybe anyone has another e-ink android tablet that works great (and isn't too expensive or old)?
Bless,
Bram

I have a boox leaf https://shop.boox.com/products/leaf which works perfect with the faithlife app, I am using it to read my monographs. If anyone at faithlife read this I would love if the page buttons on the case would work. Battery life is very good.

Hi Bram,
I am using the ONYX Boox Poke 2 with Android 9, works perfect with Logos apps. One of the best investments I did. Using it for almost 3 years now, mainly for reading books in various apps: Logos Mobile, Kindle, Kobo (Bol), Online bibliotheek (library), and more. It is not the fastest, but I don't care for I am not in a hurry. Most of the time I use it offline, having a battery life for several weeks in a row. Only going online for downloading new books or updates. Onyx Boox is still updating this relatively old device with new firmware, and as we speak I am installing the newest firmware version.
So, I don't think it matters which of the two you take. Depends what you need and what suits you. And how much money you want to spend.

I have the Onyx Boox Note Air 2 now. I have had Onyx products for years. The Logos app runs beautifully on my Note Air 2, just as it did on my older Nova 2. If you are one of those people who finds that E-Ink is easier on the eyes, you'll enjoy Logos on your Poke 4 (as well as reading ebooks in general).
