Can I stop guide sections from resetting to the top when I scroll down?

Is it possible to prevent guides from recentering to the top of a list when the list requires you to scroll down?

Basically I scroll down I click the arrow to reveal the results under the title of the book with the results I wish to see and when I do that section of the guide is reset to the top of the list requiring me to scroll back down to where I was....

Yeah I wish it would not do that.
