If you are familiar with Morris Proctor, you will know that he stresses the importance of knowing how a book is indexed.  e.g. verses, pages, headwords

In his courses, he points out that when you know how a book is indexed, you can do things with it that make it more readily accessible.  Plus you will know better how to search that book.

He points out a number of books that are indexed in ways we might not have thought of, and which we wish we knew.

I am suggesting that the library add another type section - indexing.  It would be good to know all the books that are indexed by Bible verses that are not commentaries, and what books are indexed by headwords that are not Bible dictionaries.

I'm not sure what a 'type section' is ... the resource info panel has the Index section.  If you're talking about a library column?  That'd be good, similar to the myTag column.  Though I'd think they need a Collection column first (I don't do collections; hard to track).

But conceptually, you're recommending what Libby already did ... it had a panel of all the indices, and then who participates.  I couldn't believe there were so many.  Who knew?

Also, you could give a prize to the resource with the most indices.  I'm voting for CBTEL!  If you were Italian, would you know that??   I discovered this looking at a claimed Egyptian etymology for 'copper' (in hebrew) and CBTEL had a hebrew indexed article.  Who knew?

Now, if instead you have the CEBTEL, there's even more!! Catalan speakers, THIS WAY!!  And Romanian speakers ... .forget CBTEL ... get CEBTEL instead!!
