NET Bible (2nd Edition) get out of sync within the LINK SET

Hi,

I have noticed this LINK SET out of sync issue, several weeks ago. Played with a variety of permutations and found that the issue only happens with NET Bible (2nd Edition).

Evidence:

My Prioritisation Order of my Bibles: ESV, LEB, NET Bible (2nd Edition), etc.
Enter Acts 8 in the Command Box -> select under Layout -> Open Passage Study Layout to Acts 8
All Resource Panes open correctly within "LINK SET A" to Acts 8:1, except NET Bible (2nd Edition) which opens up to Acts 9:32 (as shown in screenshot below)

My Workaround: In NET Bible,

If type the same Bible Reference Acts 8:1 nothing changes
However, If I type a different Bible Reference (Acts 1 or even Acts 8:2), once that works (where all Resources are sync as per LINK SET A), enter the desire Bible Reference (Acts 8:1) again, and it will continue to work for the same Logos Session for LINK SET A.

Request: I would appreciate if someone else can validate that it is indeed a bug, and not something that happen only on my MacBookPro macOS Monterey 12.5. Thanks.

I don't have NET2, so I can't speak to that strangeness. But your workaround is SOP for Logos, going back to Logos4. The links (and ditto in TextComparison) often demand a 'major' verse change to work. I think Logos is probably the only Bible software that has so much trouble with 'verses', even the mobile app too.

I cannot reproduce the problem with the information available. To explain it, and I have always found such problems explainable, I would need to know everything included in link set A. The problem is generally caused by a pericope-oriented commentary that includes Acts 8:1 in a pericope beginning earlier than Acts 8:1 and ending at Acts 9:31. Occasionally there is an error in tagging that needs to be corrected, but that does not seem to be the case here.

Thanks for taking the time to reply on this.

My Setup ...

Passage Guide Pane: I just Edit my passage Guide anew; by Removing every items in my existing passage guide, then, I added all the template Passage Guide items, and add only My "Commentary 10 Best for each Book" Collection.

Bible Window: based on My Prioritized Bible Lists. By the way the LINK SET is not set by me, I think it is the default Passage Guide Layout. I am not aware of how I can edit this Standard Passage Guide Layout. (I remember long time ago the default Passage Guide shows top 5 Bible, it is showing only 3 now (?).

Not sure if I have found the problem here:

I observed that it could be tagging or formatting matter on Net Bible 2nd Edition (same problem as described above also happen with older Net Bible too)

(a) ALL other Chapters starts with new para, eg. Chapter 7 below

(b) For Chapter 8:1 it does not start as a new para.

I am not questioning to correctness of 8:1 as the last line of last para of Chapter 7. I am merely making an observation that there is a deference visually; show that there is difference with tagging or formatting that might have caused the side effect that I am reporting[:)]

Same happen to Passage Study Layout for Mark 9:1

Where all Resources be it Bibles or Commentaries are synced correctly, except Net Bible jumps to Mark 10:13. I hope that is enough of evidences for Logos to take a look at this [:)]

PS: Try not to make Net Bible as the first of your prioritised Bible.
