Is 'Equivalent Resources' still a thing.
I seem to have some of the resources listed in the Help item, but the equivalence button doesn't show on them.
(My principle interest here is not Bible versions/texts, rather it is the writings of early Christians, eg, Augustine.)

Yes, but equivalent resources only applies to a limited number of resources:

For cases such as Augustine, usually creating a collection to use as parallel resources is the way to go as they are not multiple copies of the same text but rather multiple translations/transcriptions of the same base text.

Equivalent means "exactly the same text", not merely "the same text in a different translation", so I wouldn't expect it to be useful for early Christian writings. For that, the parallel resources menu is likely to be much more useful.
