API for PHP

I am totally new to APIs, and want to add the Bible to my website (a .bible site).  I guess it is just easy to say that I'm lost.  Where do I download the API files?  I'm having to walk through this by myself, since my ministry is me, and hiring a developer is not going to happen anytime soon.

Having used the embedded bible for a while, I'm ready to go "full blown", and Faithlife/Logos is my "goto" source.  Being able to provide resources to my users will be awesome.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you and God bless!

Hey Chuck,

This forum seems to be pretty dead. Check out the documentation and samples on https://bibliaapi.com/docs/Samples. 

There are no files to download; they only support get requests at this point. If you have a more specific question I might be able to help. I've only used the API for some python scripts I use on my local machine.
