I started reading this book and was so aghast I threw it in the bin.
It might have been a good book if it just stuck to the title 'Introduction to the New Testament' but author, John Drane questions at every turn, or so it seems the authenticity of many of the accounts in scripture.

His bio shows his interest in occult / New age teaching.

So the question I pose is, should this person's material be in the Core material for both Old & New testament where beginner Christians would likely start?
