Atlas links from passages

I'm struggling to understand where Logos is taking me when I click on an Atlas link in a passage/verse.  If you see the attached example, it's about Paul traveling through Macedonia and Greece.  When I click on the Atlas link, it takes me to the Atlas, with "Biblical World - The Early Church" highlighted but there is a HUGE list of events under it.  I can often scroll down and find what I'm looking for but, in this example, there are hundreds in the list.  What am I missing?

What have you selected on the left side? That is what tells the Atlas what to open to. I generally open to a lowest level event or a geographic item and have never had this problem. It sounds as if you might have selected a high-level event - or a geographical item that appears frequently in scripture.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I'm not following.  Maybe you can help me understand on this Acts passage.  How do I get to the Atlas of Paul traveling through Macedonia and Greece?

On the scrolling list starting with "The Early Church", there are maybe 100 items in the list.  I can scroll through it, and sometimes find it but it seems like the pointer from the passage would take me straight to it.  Or am I not understanding how to use this feature?

select one of the entries in the red box to get the narrower list.

Or enter the event in the search box in the Atlas which requires some sense of how Logos titles things:

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I guess I would have selected the 'Paul goes to Macedonia' similar to the chapter heading.  But best I can see, Paul doesn't arrive in Macedonia ... he goes to Corinth instead (map choices, derived from 1Co/2Co). Maybe there's no Macedonia map routing, or at least I couldn't see one.

But no matter ... you'd think Acts 20:1 would map Paul on his way, directly from the right-click Atlas choice.

Here's what I got (Paul seems to be lost, east of Damascus):

It does if you select the event, doesn't it?

Not from what I can see; maybe I'm confused:

    - Right-clik on Acts 20:1

    - Select from the left-menu 'Paul goes to Macedonia' (matching Acts 20:1)

    - Select from the right-menu 'Atlas'

    - Paul gets lost in Arabia (no offense to Paul)

Now, it does show another map of Paul returning to Macedonia but then heading west; not going to Greece (per Acts).

There does seem to be a bug in that it fails to link to the source event ... but rather jumps up a level.  It needs to be reported as a bug -- see BUG: Serious error in basic functionality of Context Menu call to Atlas - Faithlife Forums (logos.com)

See Andrew's response in the other thread. Consider this a mismatch between the designers' expectations and the users' expectations -- one in which for now the users must make the adjustment.
