Preaching Mode with a dark theme

The Preaching Mode in Sermon Builder is a valued feature!
However, sometimes in a low light environment the strong illumination of a white page with black text is quite distracting. At times the listeners get a strong distracting reflection in my glasses. It is also uncomfortable to my eyes when redirecting my focus from the audience to the manuscript.
Would it be possible to code an 'invert' the white to black and black text to white? Or is there a workaround to accommodate this kind of format?
Thank you for considering this added feature.

Hello Brad, welcome to the forum! Sorry to say that I haven't learned of a solution yet. I still struggle and have resigned to doing the best I can and say it is what it is. Now I must say that my Android phone in dark mode and Logos mobile set in dark mode brings my lesson (sermon) with black screen and white text. But the small screen and very limited amount of text it isn't very practical. So I continue to watch and to wait.

Could you clarify which platform/device you are running Preaching Mode from? On mobile devices, Preaching Mode should follow the system.

If you are launching Preaching Mode in a browser (from Logos desktop), a workaround might be to add `&theme=dark` to the end of the URL in the browser.

Hi Todd, thank you for your solution! This will work for me.
I'm using a PC Win 11, Google Chrome browser on a Surface Pro with Logos as a desktop. I like the larger screen making for more text available, plus the detachable screen is handy like a tablet. The &theme=dark appended to a truncated URL to become: https://sermonwriterapi.logos.
com/v1/documents/...what ever... /present?theme=dark . 0 -
Glad that worked for you, David.
I've opened a case so that launching Sermon Presenter from Logos Desktop will respect the theme the desktop app is running in, so hopefully the workaround won't be needed (if you are running Logos Desktop in the dark theme).

Todd Diehl....... I like the way you answered the question by opening up a "case" for it. Times have been where others point out a "work around" to a problem and yet never "opens a case" to solve the problem. Thanks for the way you try to actually solve the problem for the future. Good thinking!

Same here - I'm using a Surface Pro, love the detachable screen that feels like a tablet but functions like a PC. Adding the dark theme to the URL is a great suggestion. Thanks Todd!
The fact that we need internet access for preaching mode is concerning.
