Quite frankly, I'm pretty new to the Mac. So, there's probably better ways. This is just one.
The Issue: Logos has just about everything. But not. Accordance has a bunch of volumes that Logos doesn't. But who wants to build 2 full libraries? So, I use Accordance to 'fill-in' for what Logos is missing. And I want to use the Accordance volume, with my Logos layout ... an Accordance apparatus ... and my Logos greek resources.
First Problem: Accordance doesn't like to 'downsize' ... so I can see Logos below it, in the same workspace. I found, he will downsize, if there's only one Accordance workspace. If there's more than one, then you have to move part of Accordance off-view. Plus Accordance demands to have the Info panel always open. So, I move that to the bottom; on the side, it covers Logos.
Second Problem: My Logos layout has multiple windows (8 at least). Saves time; each window a different purpose. So I put Logos in its own Mac workspace, and use a Mac hotspot to quickly select which Logos window I want. And Logos can be in any Mac workspace and 'stay there'.
Accordance, bless his heart, can be in any workspace, but doesn't 'stay there' ... he jumps into everyone's workspace, whichever one is in use. Headachy ... Accordance is a Mac product originally. So, I severely downsize Accordance and then push him to the app-bar (using the yellow light), when not needed. Luckily, when I close Accordance, he remembers his place.
Overall: This approach works pretty good. Of course, tailoring a Logos layout to work well with a floating Accordance above it, is best. In my case, the 'floating' resources are typically original language volumes, so I try to keep the 'matching' Logos resources to one side in a Logos layout.
