Clock in Android Tablet/Phone

When in LOGOS my Android tablet displays the clock in the upper left of the screen. My Android phone does not. Seeing as phones are portable, and time is "of the essence", can we get the clock displayed on our Android phones?

Maybe this was done in deference to pastors who preach 50 minute sermons. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) [:)]

Well, I hope they don't generalize this to the iPhone. Real estate is precious ... all text. There is time/battery etc clicking on the menu-view.
Or Android is different.
