Has anyone had any luck converting old Graeca/Hebraica font Word documents to Unicode?
A friend of mine just got Logos 4. It seems to be missing the Graeca/Hebraica conversion tools. In Logos 3, it's under Tools > Original Language Tools, Convert Graeca/Hebraica.
I tried converting an old GraecaII Greek font Word document to Gentium. Most of the Greek words converted flawlessly to the Gentium font, but some were converted to Arial Unicode MS for no apparent reason? The words which incorrectly converted to Arial Unicode MS most frequently seem to be ones with acute accents over one of the vowels, such as καὶ or περὶ. But others incorrectly converted to Arial Unicode MS instead of Gentium don't have grave accents, such as λογού, κοινωνίαν, and γράφομεν. Also, all of the numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.) got converted to Arial Unicode MS instead of to Gentium.
Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it so that ALL of the GraecaII font characters get converted to Gentium consistently throughout the document?
Thanks!
Scott
