Ctrl-F search no longer works
Since I came back to my ebook for college I saw the web app had an update, so I refreshed the page with that link at the bottom right of the screen. Now Ctrl-F search functionality is broken! I tried on my main browser Firefox and in MS Edge. I can see a word on the screen in my ebook and I Ctrl-F that search term and it says no results found. Literally no search terms appear through that search. The built-in web browser search is useless for what I was trying to search for, so - was this intentional? Is it a bug?

Hi Brittany, welcome to the forums. What happens when you try to search the resource using the magnifying glass in the toolbar (as opposed to a keyboard shortcut)?

I believe Ctrl-F searching has only ever worked in Limited view mode. That may have been turned off when the update happened. You can turn it back on in your settings.

I was trying to search for Nineveh being mentioned in my textbook knowing it was in Chapter two under the Assyrian subheadding (per my type-written notes based on the reading from that book).
I typed "Nineveh" and nothing appeared in the built-in Logos web app search. So, I tried "Assyrian" and that, provided no result. I knew the word Nahum was mentioned within a sentence or two of the part I was looking for (according to my notes), so I searched for "Nahum". The only reference was a chapter heading much further along in the book than I'm currently reading.
The search functionality was decimated by the recent update.
I've rarely used the built-in Logos search. And now that Ctrl-F search is broken, I tried the built-in. For the book I'm reading it, too, doesn't function right.

I tried turning Limited View on. It removes the ability to view the chapters list or do anything except scroll up or down within the book. The search functionality through the web browser does work, but because of the way Logos loads the ebooks, in small sections at a time, that type of search isn't all that helpful. Turning Limited View off removes the ability to search. Thanks for mentioning Limited View. I'll have to try to use it to search for something I have a good idea of where it is in the book, according to my notes, then turn it off since it makes the interface so unusable. I need a functional ebook interface; I am not happy with how Logos functions. I may have to resort to buying physical books so I can use sticky notes and tabs to help me find sections I want to return to.
