If you're new to Logos, at least historically, resources carry a higher markup, rationalized to reflect the extra special tagging that FL might (or might not) do.
Then the extra markup is marked down, with collections, packages, and sales. Which means, in building your library over time, the markdown devices are how you build your library cheaply.
Generally, packages are cheapest, but it depends on what else you get. With dynamic pricing, there's unbelievable savings. Plus, right now, the new packages are on the horizon (Logos 10). So you have to guess a little.
However, an almost site-wide sale like Labor Day, is the time to get those unusual volumes that you need/want.
Examples (for me)? International Exegetical Commentary, some Pseudo-Philo, some latin/greek fathers in latin/greek, cuneiform inscriptions, and a '3rd Isaiah' discussion. All subjects no one reads! And not often marked down.
30,000+ titles ... a bit too much? Narrow down with your favorite topics. I have just 4.
