Performance problem: Interactive language resources use around 85% of CPU

Opening either Listen and Learn:Greek or Listen and Learn:Hebrew runs my CPU up to near 100%.  The main offending program is LogosCEF.exe with 5 instances running and the first one taking 75-85% of the total.  This is even if one of them is the only open resource in Logos.

Closing the Interactive leaves 4 instances running.  Opening both resources (Greek and Hebrew) produces 6 instances, at which the CPU used does not drop below about 83%.

The two resources are:

INTERACTIVE:LISTEN-AND-LEARN-GREEK
2020-10-06T23:58:44Z
LISTEN-AND-LEARN-GREEK.lbshtm

INTERACTIVE:LISTEN-AND-LEARN-HEBREW
2020-10-06T23:58:45Z
LISTEN-AND-LEARN-HEBREW.lbshtm

Logos version:

Logos Bible Software 9.16
9.16.0.0006

I'm running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro build 19043.1889

on an HP laptop with

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5300U CPU @ 2.30GHz   2.30 GHz

8.00 GB memory

CPU Usage immediately increases form 2% to 53% with L&L Greek.

This problem has been replicated and accepted by Tech Support as a bug for which an internal case for investigation.has been opened.  We await their fix!

I logged this problem under Logos 9.  I have since then upgraded to Logos 10.

The problem still exists.  It makes the Listen and Learn interactive resources (both Hebrew and Greek) unusable.

    Logos version:

    Logos Bible Software 10.0 SR-2
    10.0.0.0240

Same Windows version and hardware configuration.

    Same two resources.

I have sent an email to tech support.
