Lexham discourse Hebrew bible bundle tutorial
I am trying to understand how to best use the Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible with its datasets and analysis and so on. I was wondering if there is a tutorial on how to best use this. I am presently reading through the glossary, and Introduction. Hoping there is something that will help me process this information.
Thanks
Jeff

First, I'm not sure how you're looking to use discourse analysis ... research ... preaching .... comparatives ... and more.
But as a first, before using the datasets, I'd familiarize myself with hebrew vs 'discourse', in one of the monographs above ... intro's etc. The reason is that the Lexham datasets overlay 'hebrew' as being like any other language (specifically greek, in Logos). But that depends on what you're seeking ... a big-picture overlay, or nuts and bolts hebrew that recognizes idea/meaning formation (completely different issue).
But best I can see, they don't have specific Lexham tutorials on the hebrew datasets.

Hi, DMB.
Thanks for your info. I already have the set. I use AFAT daily as well as LBH. I also use the discourse analysis in both. I was inquiring as to whether or not there was a tutorial to better explain (besides reading through all four volumes) their use. Presently I click on the tag and another info tab pops up explaining to some degree the meaning of the tag. But that is not really helpful to me. I am seeking to understand them better.
Thanks again.
Jeff
