visual filters in Bible in separate layouts

I have a layout for Bible reading with just my preferred Bible and 2 other translations in 3 panels linked together. The Bibles have no visual filters (e.g. highlights, notebooks, etc.) set, show only the Bible text.

I have another layout for Bible study with preferred Bible and other study related panels where I wish to use visual filters for highlights, notebooks, etc.

Unfortunately, I have to change the visual filter settings for my preferred Bible when changing layouts, because the VF settings are not saved within just the layout, but are saved with the Bible. Is there any way I can modify some setting which would preserve my preferred Bible with different visual filter settings??

NOTE: I moved this post now here; hopefully, this is now a more appropriate location.

No. Although I follow your reasoning and agree the desire has its merits, I'm pretty sure the changes you make in VFs follow the Bible and are not specific to each layout.

Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.
