Creating Commentary with Personal Books

I have a written out notes/commentary on a book of the Bible. I am trying to create a commentary with the personal books feature, however, every time I build book, the commentary does not automatically come up or follow along when I search for a Bible text I written commentary on.

How do I make my personal book work the same way commentaries I've purchased work?
