Nathan, I like your thinking. We're planning a couple of things that should help this problem.
1. We're creating a Complete Your Collections page which will show you top products by key categories, where you can visit on a regular basis to see which collections have been updated. We'll expose it in the main navigation so it's easy to find and check regularly. I think this is in the works and coming in the next month or two.
2. We're also exploring a feature that will allow you to automatically pre-order new volumes in a series. This will allow you to stay current on your favorite journals, commentaries, monograph series, etc. No promises yet on timing, but it's a candidate on our 2023 list.
We'll think some more about the notification opportunity. Thanks for the suggestion.
I know that this isn't an easy ask... and I know it would require publisher approval (likely on a resource by resource basis)... but I wish we could get dynamic pricing on new editions of resources.
Agreed! I don't know if it is publisher related or not but getting collections updated frequently would be appreciated. E.g. Tyndale Commentaries
