Hi,

It appears that all English/Chinese Bible with Reversed Interlinear, tagged the High Priest as Annas. I thought during the period from AD 18-36 the High Priest was Caiaphas the son-in-law of Annas? Or is there something I missed. Thanks.

    Act 4,5-6

    Qupte:
According to verse 6, the family of the high priest was also present, which included Annas the high priest; his son, John; and other members of his family, like Alexander and his son-in-law Caiaphas. As to John, the below chart shows that Annas’ son Jonathan was probably the John of Acts 4:6. He was appointed high priest by Vitellius, the legate of Syria, in A.D. 36 and served in that position until A.D. 37. As to Alexander, nothing is known about him other than that he was a member of Annas’ family. As to Caiaphas, he was appointed high priest by Valerius Gratus, procurator in A.D. 18 and served in that position until he was deposed by Vitellius, the legate of Syria, in A.D. 36.[94]

Annas, the son of Seth (23 or 22 B.C. to probably A.D. 40), served as high priest during the years A.D. 6 or 7 to A.D. 14 or 15 and was then deposed by Valerius Gratus, the Roman governor at that time.[95] However, Annas retained control of the priesthood because he was succeeded by several of his sons, his son-in-law, and, at the end of his life, his grandson. He was the head of what the Pharisees called “the Bazaar of the Sons of Annas,” a private money-changing and sacrifice-selling business. Yeshua overthrew his tables twice, at the first and last Passovers of His public ministry.

When I hover over the little speaker icon, it shows it as Caiaphas speaking. So there is disagreement within the program it seems.

    Thanks. I've reported the discrepancy.
