Monthly perks email

I just received an email about my alleged monthly perks.
However, I'm not a subscriber... Something must have gone wrong.
(I did take the trial about a year ago though.)

I am a connect subscriber, got my email, and dutifully ordered the 3 most expensive PD books on the list, hoping for future advantages on dynamic pricing, like I do every month.

As a subscriber, it’s been months since I got the perks email. Have had to go through the link in a months’ old email to get my free books. When I remember to do it. 😢

In July of this year, I also suddenly stopped receiving my monthly emails for my Faithlife Connect Perks and Wordsearch Perks benefits. I didn't worry too much until the following month when I received only my Wordsearch Perks monthly email. They were not going to my Junk or Spam folder--I simply was not receiving them. I emailed Logos Customer Service with the issue I was having.
Carla Schermerhorn responded by saying, "I reached out to our Marketing Team that handles our email lists. They indicated that your email client was being blocked and bouncing back some of our emails, so this could be the cause of the issue with the email not arriving to you. We have made internal adjustments for all xxxxxxx.xx customers to try and prevent this in the future. We also suggest that you whitelist communications@faithlife.net by marking these emails as safe by adding that email address for Faithlife into your contacts list, or email address book. You should then get all of the emails that we are sending out to you, including all of the Faithlife Connect monthly emails, and not just the Perks emails."
(Note: I have replaced xxxxxxx.xx with my actual email domain name in the above response to protect my identity.)
I did not change anything on my end (i.e. whitelist / safe sender list), simply because my email hosting provider has no such feature available at the user-level. In September and October I received my Perks emails, as expected!
So, I would suggest you contact Customer Service and explain your issue. Hopefully, your issue will be resolved as quickly as mine was.

For future reference, Wayne, adding "communications@faithlife.com" to your address book will whitelist them.

Hi. Thanks for the tip. I am an old MS Exchange/Lotus Notes-Domino expert. Sadly, this is an issue with my internet/email provider. They don’t have the ability to whitelist or create safe sender.

I have been having this problem too, for two months.

communications@faithlife.com has been on my whitelist since at least last year, but I haven't received monthly emails since May. They have had plenty of time to fix this, or at least alert subscribers to the problem. I've heard nothing on this matter from Faithlife. Not impressed.

I do the same thing, as I have grabbed any books that I might actually used from the list.

Yes, me too, even though I'm still not a connect subscriber.

If I remember correctly, there was an increase of promotional emails from Faithlife around May this year. So much so, that I seem to remember unsubscribing to them all.
Feedback from customer services on the lack of Faithlife Connect emails reveals that on the preferences webpage we must at least tick the box to receive emails from Faithlife, even though we don't have to tick any of the product categories on the page. That should hopefully restore receiving emails.
In any case, the emails point to this webpage each month: https://connect.faithlife.com/get-started Using this link directly is an alternative to relying on email notifications.

I've just received my 4th consecutive monthly perks email, and I'm still not an FL connect subscriber. Something's still not right here.

Also, at the end of december, I got an email reminding me to use my birthday credit before january.
I was traveling and found an internet cafe to try to use it. but was unable to.
I should probably make a separate thread for that.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

The problem is widespread. But I don't know that Faithlife pays much attention to this forum.

I had to switch from Yahoo. Whitelisting everything every month did nothing. Called, they check marked everything. Finally creating my Logos only email, I have received everything ever since (about 2 years, now).
