Canvas on iPad
Enhance your Sermon prep or Bible study with an improved Canvas now on iPad!
What is it?
You can now create, edit, and save Canvas documents on your iPad! UI improvements have been made to the Canvas toolbar and text selection.
How to access it?
From the More menu:

Open the Logos mobile app on iPad.

Click on the More menu (three horizontal lines) in the bottom right corner.

Scroll down to the “Documents” section and select “Canvases”.

Select an existing Canvas document to edit or click the plus icon in the top right corner to create a new Canvas document.
From the Layouts View:

Open the Logos mobile app on iPad.

Click on the Tabs icon (square with a number) on the bottom toolbar to go to the Layouts View.

Click the plus sign.

Click the Documents icon (farthest left).

Select an existing Canvas document to edit or click the plus icon in the top right corner to create a new Canvas document.

This is not available on iPhone or Android phone and tablet.

This is available in Bronze packages and above.

Thank you for bringing the canvas to the iPad!
Right now it is just the desktop version, without any adjustments to the usability using a touch screen.
Fo example highlighting words: On a touch device you would use the Apple Pencil to draw simple over the words the style (like it is in Goodnotes, Notability…). And not dragging the style over the word an resize it like it is currently implemented. Because that is way to slow an to tedious.
Another thing i noticed is the drawing with the Apple Pencil: The quality was very bad when i used it, you could clearly see the pixels..
And it would be cool to have the feature that only the apple pencil can draw not our hands. So we can rest our hands on the ipad and write. Thats a standart IOS Feature..
But the most important thing is the highlighting i mentioned first. Please change it so you can draw the style over the words like it is in Goodnotes, Notability.. Right now it is not really useable, at least it brings no improvement compared to the desktop version..
