When the 10-10-10 event was announced me and many others never received the invitation. That was when I realized I wasn't getting any emails other than sales receipts from FL. I called tech support, checked email filtering and email preferences. Nothing indicated why I wasn't getting emails.
Yesterday I made two changes and fixed the issue.
- Changed my FL Sign in email to an alternate address in my account profile.
- Unsubscribe and resubscribe to FL promotional emails:
- Unsubscribed from all FL promotional emails by unchecking "I’d like to receive email from Faithlife." then click Submit.
- Then resubscribe by checking "I’d like to receive email from Faithlife" and selecting the emails I want to receive and clicking Submit.
This morning I have a promo for this month's sale and a verse of the day in my inbox.
I can't be 100% certain but I think the available selections changed between the original promotional list and the new list after I had unsubscribed. Maybe not.
At any rate I think it was the unsubscribing/resubscribing that fixed the issue more so than changing my Sign in email address.
I hope this helps those that are having the same problem.
PS: I also used Edge to make the changes instead of my usual Firefox browser. I doubt this made a difference, but it is one more variable to consider if the above doesn't work in your daily browser.
