Favorites in L10

I have L10, although I have yet to purchase an upgrade. When I click on Favorites, it opens a left panel that is blank. The programs stops responding. If I wait a long time (even longer if I am offline), the Favorites will eventually appear. But CLEARLY something is amiss. I cannot use Logos at all until the Favorites appear. Sometimes I have to shut down the program and bring it up again. But I am unable to use my Favorites unless I wait it out to load.

Can anyone else identify with this problem?

Do you have a Faithlife Connect subscription?

If you have L10 and SHOULD have L10, then you should post a BUG report with logs in the L10 Desktop forum. If for some reason the engine downloaded for you as L10 wrongly, then you should try deleting the app and downloading the L9 engine to see if that fixes it.

I have FL Connect Subscription.

So I guess that is why I have L10

For clarification: since you have a subscription, you should have the L10 engine and tools. My recommendation of downgrading does not apply. You should post in the L10 forum and provide more details. You may need to also post logs (see my signature line).

That issue would crash the application, not just slow it down.

Can you open your Program Settings, scroll to the bottom, and change the Enable Hardware Acceleration option and see if it changes things for you. This might be a problem related to a video driver problem we've seen.

Hardware acceleration for me was set to no. I have now set it to yes and the problem is the same. I created a new thread with the logs here
