Logos Web app - desktop vs mobile phone Chinese translation options differ, but why?
When accessing the Logos Web app on a desktop, the Chinese Translate choices are:
Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Traditional)
but when accessing the Logos Web app on a mobile phone, the Chinese Translate choices are:
Chinese (Mandarin - China Mainland)
Chinese (Mandarin - Taiwan)
Why do they have two different sets of two nomenclature choices depending on whether you are using the web app on a desktop vs a phone? The full desktop software version gives you the choice of:
Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Traditional)
How do these four choices relate to each other? Is Mandarin Mainland the same as Simplified, and is Mandarin Taiwan the same as Traditional, or what?

Hello Eric, following up with you on this bug. I have a few questions to help us narrow down the issue:
- Where in the web app are you seeing the "Mandarin - China Mainland" and "Mandarin - Taiwan" choices?
- What kind of phone did you notice this with?
- Which browser were you using on your phone?

When I highlight a passage and then choose the Translate option.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and use Safari for my browser.Optimistically Egalitarian (Galatians 3:28)

Thanks Eric! I was able to figure out what was going on.
We don't currently support many of the advanced features in our resource display (such as the new Machine Translation feature) when on a mobile device due to limitations in the web browsers on those devices.
When we selected the text on an iPhone, Apple's own built-in text selection popup came up, which includes its own translation feature, which is separate from ours. So ultimately what we ended up seeing was Apple's translation tool, not our Machine Translation feature, which is unavailable on the mobile web app at this time. You can still use it in the desktop web app, however.
