FEEDBACK / REQUESTS on Search
After using the revamped Search in L10 a bit since release, I have the following feedback / suggestions:
1) Please bring back the arrow icon to execute the search with a mouse click.
2) After I execute a search on one search tab (e.g. Bible), and I switch to another tab (e.g. All) to do a different search, can you please NOT carry over the search string from the first tab into the second tab (or make this an option)? Especially annoying when I:
- Execute search on Bible tab with complex search string;
- Go to All tab to search for something else with a simple search string;
- Go back to Bible tab and my complex search string is replaced with the simple string from the All tab.
3) Provide an option on the All Search tab to just see the "goodie cards" (they're growing on me) and skip the never-ending search results?

Ouch -- I depend upon the search argument carrying over. You trying to sabotage me? [;)]

Okay, what you are real asking for is for the search parameters/argument to be preserved as search specific which is much more complex. Some are working on getting the search parameters/argument to be preserved when you open a new search panel so some of the basics to meet your need may be already under consideration in a slightly different form..

I depend on this carry-over when I want to repeat a query or entered it under the wrong Search type.
Especially annoying when I:
- Execute search on Bible tab with complex search string;
- Go to All tab to search for something else with a simple search string;
- Go back to Bible tab and my complex search string is replaced with the simple string from the All tab.
Search History will retain your complex query.
