I added volume 12 of the Theological Journals. Logos4 indexed, and when I merged the index it crashed and keeps crashing. Any suggestions?
Here is the index file 4861.Logos4Indexer.log
Here is Logos file 38232.Logos4.log

Dave,
I made sure security suite was not running, and I rebuilt the index. It still failed.
Here are the logs 3441.Logos4Indexer.log
My indexer has stop crashing but I now need help because it keeps indexing every time Logos4 opens. I rebuilt the index once all ready and that did not help.
Please upload the indexer & logos4 logs (compressed preferably) you got after the rebuild.
Here are my logs
1346.Logos4Indexer.zip
0576.Logos4.zip
The last index was performed because the Bible Index at C:\Users\Karl\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\owdxk0xz.hpt\BibleIndex had been deleted!?
What is happening now?
BTW you can select multiple files and they will be compressed into 1 file.
It still indexes when I open Logos4. Is there any reason the Bible Index would delete itself?
As of 8:44 pm, my logs again state that "BibleIndex Doing a full re-index because the existing index seems to have been deleted." Is there any idea why my existing index is being deleted?
Also, this time I am letting it index while being offline to see if anything changes.
Have you checked the contents of the BibleIndex folder after an Index and checked its Security (it should be similar to the LibraryIndex).
Can you perform a Bible Search after an index?
I can do a bible search and a basic search and get results.
The image of BibleIndex looks wrong - was this done during indexing? Either way, delete the contents of the folder and then restart L4
The problem is resolved as of today. I had a backup that kept updating when my system changed. Why backup anything when it's kept in the clouds? IDK! Anyway thanks for your help!
I had a backup that kept updating when my system changed.
Could you explain this, please? Backup of what?
I currently run a program called WD Anywhere Backup. When I was running Logos 3, I backed up my resources, notes, preferences, etc. Since Logos4 works in the clouds, I don't need to backup these files any more but the program was still backing up my C drive when changes were made. I forgot to disable this function.
