Read Aloud Feature
I love the new read aloud feature! This is going to help me get to so many more books inside of logos! Have so many I want to read but having this ability to listen to them on drives or doing other kinds of work is going to be amazingly beneficial!
1.) While using it today on a long drive I did have issues with it occasionally crashing. Whole app would freeze and stop playing the audio.
2.) I think I’ve settled on an iOS voice that is tolerable although I do wish it could be a little better. Maybe get someone like Morgan Freeman’s voice speaking :-)

I'd like to have a deepfake of Jose Ferrer's voice.

I've been looking forward to this feature for a long time... now I can finally listen to my seminary textbooks while I exercise. [:O]
Now if only Logos could get more of my textbooks into its format...

Could they add a feature that does my exercise while I read? [:^)]

A: The same thing is happening to me on my Android phone. But specifically it happens to me when I turn off the screen. At 11 minutes the audio stops.

The problem I’m having, though, is getting my (currently) preferred voice to be the one reading. It seems stuck on one I don’t dig and not sure how to change it. I have “Tom” selected but he’s not reading
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

Are you trying from a computer or smartphone? There are a few different voice sections, as some are for accessibility features, and others are for reading spoken content. Search your preferences for the various ones and you may find the right one to update.

To change the voice, swipe up on the pop-up box at the bottom of the screen (it contains the “pause” button), and you’ll see a voice icon. Tap the voice icon, and you can change to any voice that you previously downloaded in settings on your iPad, iPhone.
