SUGGESTION: New Evidence That Demands A Verdict

I have several - (and love using) - apologetics resources that are available in my Logos Scholars Gold Library, plus the seperate ones I've purchased for use with the program.
There is, however, one that I sorely miss; and that is Josh McDowell's - New Evidence That Demands A Verdict.
I consider this book to be one of the finest available apologetics resources that I own - BUT . . . I don't have it in Logos 4!
I would love to see this book added to the Logos library of available books for purchase. A Logos digital version of this book would be incredible with all the linking that Logos does, plus the capability to search any apologetic topic.
So . . .
- I would like to suggest acquiring rights to use The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict (by Josh McDowell) in Logos Bible software and making it available for purchase.

I support this suggestion 100%. I have the paper version (the older edition, 2 volumes) and would like to have it in Logos (the newer edition of both volumes in one).

I'm frankly surprised that Nelson never published this for Logos. We have two other McDowell books in Logos (Answers to Tough Questions and Josh McDowell’s Handbook on Apologetics), but not Evidence or even A Ready Defense, which would lend themselves to Logos' format nicely.

I support the inclusion of this resource in Logos. I have both editions( 2vol old edition and the New one vol edition noted above) in my paper Library and I have enjoyed perusing them. Please Logos make this available.

This title is available though as a condensed version (see preface below). It does not though appear to be availabe from the Logos website. Try contacting Logos customer service and see if they can get it added to their catalouge, maybe its just an oversight that its not listed.

Andrew,
thanks for sharing some info on that newer edition of Josh's work. Having in Logos format Josh's classic books on Christian apologetic would be wonderful.

Sometimes titles that were available in the past are no longer available. Maybe they were discontinued by the publisher and/or Logos's licensing agreement with the publisher expired and they haven't been able to renew it. This has happened for a number of popular works, such as J.I. Packer's Knowing God; the Columbia Encyclopedia; Old Testament Exegesis and New Testament Exegesis, both by Gordon Fee & Douglas Stewart; The Reformation Study Bible, etc. Sometimes you can get lucky and find an old version still for sale from a third party warehouse distributor if it was part of a bundle. I was able to get the Reformation Study Bible that way. But I have not had any success with the others, all of which I'd love to have.
I wish there were a list somewhere of all the discontinued titles so we could perhaps organize to lobby for reinstating some of them. Anyone know of any others?

The older edition (2 volume) in paper has been one of the most influential book for me as a youth leader in the old days under communism. There had been many students I was able to discuss the Christianity's solid historical base with, after studying this and a few other books of that kind. It would be great to have a new edition in Logos.

Evidences for Christianity is still available at Logos, but in a couple Nelson book collections, including one that sells for $2000!

It's also available at Nelson by itself in Libronix format: http://www.nelsonministryservices.com/nms/product_detail.asp?dept%5Fid=725&sku=141853207X
Logos also sells Josh McDowell's Handbook on Apologetics (http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/5quest,) which is a distillation of the Evidence series (according to it's description) -- but I compared the Handbook's description with the table of contents of my print version of New Evidence that Demands a Verdict, and it looks to me like the Handbook handles some different topics.
I would also love to see New Evidence that Demands a Verdict come to Logos, my print version is falling apart!

In in on this one! Count my vote! I have The New Evidence... in hardcover, but the cross-referencing and linking in Logos would be absolutely awesome. Here's hoping.

Sign me in! Even the older, Evidence that Demands a Verdict, would be better than nothing!
