Sermon Builder as Bible Study lesson builder
See that there was a application associated with Logos 7 called “Lesson Builder” that is no longer available. Suggestion have been made to possibly use Sermon Builder. Anyone used Sermon Builder for lesson planning? If so do you have suggestion for someone who is new to using Logos for more than simply reading scripture from different Bible versions and making occasional notes.
I am not a pastor, simply a layman that want to develop lessons using inductive Bible study rather than the deductive method many see to follow in Bible Study (My opinion).
If you have created lessons using Sermon Builder and would share your knowledge I would greatly appreciate it.
Blessing to all
Barry

The old L7 Lesson Builder is VERY similar to https://www.logos.com/product/200569/adult-questions-index-for-lessonmaker that came into the Logos bookstore about a year ago.
I learned Hook, Book, Look, Took decades ago for Bible Study Lessons.
I start with Book (Explore it) - What does the Text say? You can use the suggested questions in the LessonMaker resource to get started.
Then I Look (Get it) - What does the Text mean?
Since Knowledge without application puffs up, My 3rd step is TOOK (apply it) - What do I want students to take away from the lesson.
Finally I go back to Hook (Open It) - Is there some question that can create curiosity in the student for what the text is about to ask of them?
