Print Library ISBN Scanner
Just updated to the Full Feature package of Logos 10. I have both desktop and mobile apps which appear to be up to date. However, when I try the ISBN Scanner on a book's bar code, I see nothing in the scanner, except the message "scanning" but no image and no apparent end to its so-called scanning.

I'm sorry that it doesn't work for you, but the "so-called" scanner does work. I've scanned some of my print books. Of course some books are not found or do not have a bar code. Add to that it seems some ISBN numbers are reused. That isn't a problem with Logos, it is a general problem I experienced when using Libib to keep track of my library.

I would like to know how it does work because I’m also getting the “Scanning…” screen but nothing happens.

I'm sorry you're having this issue! Are you on Android or iOS? I just tested out the scanner on several of my books and it is working properly on both Android and iOS for me. Please download the latest updates in either Android or iOS according to your device and let me know if you are still seeing the endless "Scanning..." screen.
Note: the ISBN scanner does not work offline.
If you are still seeing the issue after the updates, please send screenshots if possible.

I was having the same issue (android). I uninstalled the logos app on my phone, and re-installed it, and the problem stopped. The ISBN scanner was a menu item after re-installing.

I assume Ali if the option does not appear in the menu in the Mobile 10 App it is because I am still using Logos 9 on my desktop. I am using App version 10.0.4

For clarification: The version you are using on your desktop is irrelevant. However, this is a paid feature for which you must have a license. Did you purchase L10? Have a Faithlife Connect Subscription?

JT is correct in saying that Print Library Catalog is a paid feature. If you do not have the Logos 10 Full Feature Set (Gold) or above, then you will not see this feature in your mobile app.

I had this issue early on with IOS. It hadn't asked permission to use my camera. When I reinstalled the app it asked permission, I gave it, and everything worked fine from that point onwards.

Thanks for the clarification. I do not have any Logos 10 set let alone Gold. Bit prohibitive at present exchange rates.

Gold or higher? Yikes.
I understand there's more books, commentaries, interlinears, datasets, etc in the higher packages. I've spent a good bit of time on the package comparison page, but I had no idea certain functionality/features are enabled as you go up.
Anyone got a link to see all the paid features?

Welcome Troy! [:)]

The software is free, but it cost money to develop it. FL covers their costs by the sale of resources and features.
Anyone got a link to see all the paid features?
You mentioned the comparison page... does that not provide you with what you want to know?

Thanks, Rosie.
@JT - You're right. It's all there. I thought I'd looked hard enough, but now I see I just hadn't yet done my due diligence.
Sorry for the double post earlier.
