SUGGESTIONS: Login Process

I have two suggestions for the various application / website logins:

1. On the mobile app (I'm using Android), for the sake of those who are visually impaired, please make the text boxes with dark black text and a plain white background. I'm sure someone is very proud of their artsy abilities, but artsy doesn't count on installation and login screens.
2. On all logins (desktop, mobile, web), please provide a 'Show Password' function, as many apps and sites do. After all, these are not nuclear launch codes.

I totally agree. Sites want us to have complex passwords to increase security, but can you be confident when the site only shows you the last character for a few seconds? No.
