Opens website in Chinese

When I add a new book in the desktop app, it opens a browser window in Chinese. When I change the language to English, it says the cart is empty. Why does it open the webpage in Chinese? I don't see anything in my settings about that.

    Rick - I have read your post several times and do not understand what you are telling us. Can you try again? Provide screenshots?
