I was playing with this functionality.
1. I first typed in person:moses and it returned nothing. Then I realized it's case-sensitive. Is there a way to make it not so?
2. For person:Moses it returns a whole bunch of results from Aaron (Person). It's disorienting at first, but then I realize these are hits where Moses is mentioned in the text. Which makes me realize I don't really understand the nature and purpose of these tags:
a. Why is this Factbook Tag search different from just searching for person:Moses under Books Search? Why do we need both? And why are the results presented so differently?
b. I thought Factbook Tags are tags like my personal tags and the old Community Tags, i.e. they're just a piece of text that I or Faithlife give to a concept that someone may need to search for, regardless of the surface text wordings. So why are all the Factbook Tag Search examples in the form of keyword:value?
c. All the Factbook Tag Search examples are related to people, places, things, and topics (PPTT). How's that different from Factbook Search then?
d. When I do a Factbook Search for moses, I get a list of any PPTT that has the word Moses in it, regardless of case. I actually find this more useful and helpful. But when I go to the Factbook itself and type in moses, I get the autocomplete dropdown list, and if I click Show all for "moses", I get a list that looks very similar to the Factbook Search results list, except it seems more organized. Why the redundant functionality?
I personally find the expansion / explosion of Search Types quite overwhelming and confusing, and seems to fly against the mantra to "Simplify Search" in L10. But I'll try to take some more time to understand all these new Search Types to see if I can get the purpose of their addition.
