A Sermon Import question

When using the L10 Sermon Manager Sermon Import feature, is there any particular format of the documents that would populate the date the sermon was / will be preached or does it just import the sermon content?

Or, in other words, what sermon metadata is applied to sermons during the import process?

For me, it seems like it took the file date of the Word document and used that for the sermon date. It ignored the date inside the file, which makes sense. It would be hard to harvest the data inside a Word document. However, it did a good job of formatting my sermons and extracting the scripture references. It sure beats what I was doing before, manually cutting and pasting from Word into the Sermon Editor.

Same for me. The import sermon feature might be my favorite upgrade. In the past, i copied and pasted my sermon in from the word doc. Then I have to reformat it to pick up the scriptures. When you import, it finds them and populates the scripture field in the meta data. Really neat. It uses the title of the doc as the sermon title which is the date of delivery for me. That helps in the cases when I went back to see a message and it resaved at a later date.
