I have noticed that in L4 beta 5, clicking on the note flags in a resource will not always result in the note file relocating to the correct location and showing the note that was clicked on. The pop-up in the resource will show the note when you hover over the note flag, but when you click on the note flag (the little colored box), the focus will switch to the note file, but not always move to the right note in the note file. This is only true if the note file is already open on the desktop. If the note file is not open, clicking on the note flag will always open the note file to the right location.
I have been puzzled by why sometimes the note file does respond as expected (open to the right location) and why sometimes not. It seems that the lack of correct response starts happening immediately after I click on any text in the note file itself, even if I do not edit anything in the note file. Any subsequent clicks on note flags in the biblical text no longer work properly. The note file then starts showing the two different shades of blue (selected and hovering over), and stops relocating to the right note. Although the focus shifts to the note file, the note file does not show or highlight the correct note.
