SUGGESTION: Add a clock to the Mobile app

Yes, Bible study may be a timeless activity, but I still like to know what time it is. I would like for FL to add a clock in the upper margin next to the batt indicator (or the opposite upper corner), based obviously on the local device. Users of the desktop and web apps have the system tray, but tablet screens are fully taken up by the program.

Yes, of course I'm talking about Android...and, yes, of course iOS has a clock...that's how FL rolls. Just in the last 24-48 hours, I think I've heard about half-a-dozen different requests for features in Mobile that perplexed iOS users claim are already in L10. Which goes back to my earlier suggestion in another thread...FL needs to separate and segregate the Mobile iOS forum from the Mobile Android forum, because it's clear that Android is treated as a second class, lower priority program. Whether it's chopped footnotes, clocks, or any of a number of other features (or used-to-be features, as the case often is), Android is clearly getting the short end of the stick. This is my screen while in my browser...

To make the indignity just that much more of a nose rubbing, when the switch happens, the time doesn't just flash away. No, it fades...ever...so...slowly...into digital oblivion. Furthering the irony, when I snaped these screenshots, the time flashes back for a split second, then once again slo-fades. Anyway, since it is obviously a thing elsewhere in the Logos ecosphere...can we get that thing in Android, please?

Two things: first, you misunderstood my comment. My "of course" wasn't meant to scold you for stating the obvious; it was a comment regarding the seeming inevitability of Android getting the short end. "Did you hear Joe got arrested?" "Of course, he did."

Second, yes, the clock is part of the operating system, not just in iOS but in Android, too. But whether it is visible or not is a function of what the programmer chooses to display. Where Android is concerned, the answer is often, "Don't include it unless they complain...and sometimes not even then."
