L10 installation problem
I’ve tried unsuccessfully to install L10 on a new Win 10 PC. The process followed was as follows
- Clean install on W10 Pro, 32bit, version 21H2 with 4gb Ram
- Logged in as only user, (with administrative privileges)
- Downloaded Logos10 setup file (LogosSetup) from https://www.logos.com/downloads/298
- Started setup program2821.LogosSetup.zip
- Setup program briefly displays “Logos Bible Software Setup” with following messages:
Please wait while setup downloads files
Downloading Logos installer script
The progress window then very briefly displays before window being closed and nothing further being done.
I've noticed that the install process creates a Logos Install folder in %localappdata% (c:\users\username\Appdata\Local). This folder contains a blank folder (Installers) and the file Logos4WebScript.lbx.dat
Based on advice seen re a similar problem that some users on L5 and L6 encountered, Ieleted the logos folder in %localappdata% and restarted setup. The same issue occurs
Please note L8 install perfectly fine on the same system
Any suggestions? Logfile attached.
