Logos daily bible verse on my PC

Hey everyone! My Logos dailly bible verse on *my PC's login* screen has not changed in quite some time - it seems stuck on Jer 29.

Problem is I CANNOT remember how I even got that in the first place because what I would do is reinstall it maybe... Was it an app? If yes, where did I get from? I have NO IDEA. I do know that I DO miss turning on my PC every morning and waiting expectantly to find out what verse it'll be today!

Yes, it is an app, available in the Windows store. It's called "Faithlife Bible Screen Verse of the Day". I think I have had it stuck in the past as well, but don't remember what I needed to do to get it going again. Simply opening it and making sure the settings inside are correct might be sufficient.

Okay, super, Bernhard! Now I have looked at the options and here's what is happening: I have an option to click on "Updated Daily" - my box is unchecked - aha! - but when I go to check it, *it won't let me*. It clicks on and immediately unclicks itself.

I suspect this might be some sort of Windows setting thing going on... does anyone have any thoughts?

And for whatever unexplainable reason that probably has something to do with shamans viewing bird entrails or whatever, mine actually started working again a few days ago and has been downloading bible verses ever since.

How bizarre, but I'm glad to have it back.
