Search for diphthong + σ + vowel

I wrote a morph search looking for any diphthong followed by σ followed by a vowel:

((??οι?? OR ??αι?? OR ??ει?? OR ??ου?? OR ??αυ?? OR ??ευ?? OR ??υι??) AND (??σ??) AND (??α?? OR ??ε?? OR ??η?? OR ??ι?? OR ??ο?? OR ??υ?? OR ??ω??)) in SBLGNT

Logos returned 96 results with very nice coloring to help identify qualified results. A sample (unfortunately without the colors) is:

Matthew 1:18

I would like to know if I am using the ??x?? mask correctly and if the ANDs are correct.

If they have to occur within a single word, I wonder why you haven't spotted the false positives in your results? The results are what one expects from AND, which means that the three parts of the query can be satisfied by one or more words in a verse i.e. the result is spread over 1 to 3 words.

I combined the σ  with the diphthong, followed a single wildcard ? to ensure the word would have another character (the vowel).

(??οισ? OR ??αισ? OR ??εισ? OR ??ουσ? OR ??αυσ? OR ??ευσ? OR ??υισ?) IN (?????α* OR ?????ε* OR ?????η* OR ?????ι* OR ?????ο* OR ?????υ* OR ?????ω*)

The second parentheses specifies the vowels so that they will immediately follow the diphthong and σ. The wildcard * allows the word to be completed by zero or more characters.  

IN (use WITHIN in Logos 9) specifies that the first set of words fit within the second set e.g. that ἀκούσ? fits within ἀκούσῃ.
