Adding a note/highlight across all Bibles

I would love it if there were a way to add a note/highlight that will appear in all Bibles - without the cumbersome (and limited to reverse interlinears) Corresponding Notes and Highlights method. Couldn't there just be an option to choose when adding a note?

Notes do appear in all Bibles if made against a verse (or range of verses) as opposed to a specific portion of text

Highlights are more difficult - which is why the reverse interlinear mechanism is used - as different translations have different words present and so there isn't an easy option for matching at the surface text level.
