Is there a resource that speaks to the (possible) Qumran's (Essenes) influence on the Apostle and his writing(s)? Particularly the his Gospel.
mm.
In theory, there's an excellent book in your print library.
Sort of a deja vu?

But more recently:

There's another resource, I can't remember the title; it actually came out about 2010, and speaks specifically to your question. Maybe someone else remembers it. I saw it again, a couple weeks back.
I remember reading something about that in one of James Charlesworth's books on the Dead Sea Scrolls. But I think that his books date back to the late 90's. I am not familiar with anything more recent.
Beyond resources just dedicated to the subject, more advanced commentaries and other works on the Johannine writings might mention it. For example, I searched the two volumes of Raymond Brown's commentary on John for "Qumran" and got 221 hits. Try your commentaries.
While it's sadly not in Logos, "Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls" by Dr. John Bergsma is probably the best book I ever read on this topic. I have a Kindle version of it. Logos has a couple of Bergsma books, just not this one.
A flash back indeed [;)]. forgot about that one.

Thanks. For 5 bucks it's a cheapy. No harm downloading it.
Thanks. It was reading Charlesworth that made me rethink John and Qumran. The three volumn symposium.
