This came with latest update and appeared at Gen. 1.2, this is not a highlight I have or use, also have not been able to delete.

It must be some setting of a visual filter etc. on your computer, I don't see that highlight on my copy. Try turning off all your highlights and visual filters one-by-one to narrow it down.
