The Logos app now has a new process to interact with the text you are reading!

In an effort to clear up confusion (and possibly frustration) with getting used to the new process, please see various instructions below.

Text selection:

  • Single-tap on a word will select the entire verse or sentence
  • Double-tap (or long-press, your choice!) on a word will select only that word

Where did the title bar and main navigation bar go? How do I get it back?

When reading, we have implemented the minimized title bar, so that you have more screen 'real estate'.

You have two options:

  • Single-tap the top title bar to bring back the maximized title bar and main navigation bar at the bottom, or
  • Quick scroll or "flick" to bring back the maximized title bar and main navigation bar at the bottom.

Where are copy/paste, share, visual copy, Favorites, Bible Word Study, etc?

You can now access all of your text actions in the second row of the selection menu. Scroll to the left to see all of the actions.

Accidentally highlighting upon swipe?

You may need to turn off "Swipe to highlight" in your settings.

  1. Click the kebab menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner while in Resource View.
  2. Click "View Settings"
  3. Toggle off "Swipe to highlight".

I keep selecting text when I want to turn the page with "Scroll View" turned off...

We are aware of this frustration and will be working on a fix shortly. The intent is for you to be able to tap both sides of the resource to turn the page without selecting text and bringing up the selection menu. This is currently possible, but we recognize the lack of sensitivity when turning the page. Thank you for being patient with us as we improve this functionality!
