Logos 10 quicker?

Since upgrading to Logos 10 I find my notes tool has slowed down.

When I now want to take a note, instead of adding a new note, Logos seems to stall on the search bar for some time before bringing up the new note.

Is this something new or have I just not noticed the search bar before slowing up my note taking?

I find my notes tool has slowed down.

Others have observed a slow down in typing response.  But I'm not sure what your issue is. Please provide more detail.

When I highlight a section of text, and want to put it in one of my notes folders, previously the notes tool opened straight away, now it starts the cursor in the search bar of the notes tool, before opening the notes bar tool. It is noticeably slower and I'm sure it didn't do this before.

Logos was always slow for me until I got an SSD. Hardware fixed the problem.

The Notes tool opens immediately and the cursor is placed where it needs to be in the new Note. But I have very few notes.

How many do you have? Are you Mac or Windows? Do you have an SSD, a fast processor, 16 GB memory?

Any other slow down in Logos?

Dave, I sometimes have notes running as slow as molasses -- last night was an example. But it happens when the indexer is nearing completion and makes both processes very slow. I simply stop using notes and let the indexer complete, then everything returns to normal.

Opening up Logos this morning and the problem seems to have sorted itself; instead of the cursor going to the search bar it now goes straight to the take a note section. Back to the good old days. 100,000 highlights and near 16,000 notes shows how useful this tool is to me.

Windows with 16GB RAM have always been quite quick, so this glitch was very noticeable.
