Problem with selecting text v9 android app

If I wish to select some text to be cut and pasted, I long press the first word so it gets highlighted with the select handles, but then when I try to grab the handle to drag the highlighted to more than one word, the instant I touch the screen over the drag handle, the selection is cancelled.

This has been a problem for me ever since going to 9.

    Hi Dale, are you running the latest version of the mobile app (10.0.4) when you experience this issue? I assume you are, but wanted to ask since you posted this in the Logos 9 Mobile forum.
