Looking For Suggestions To Add To Shortcut Bar

So, I stumbled upon this video (3) Adding Links to Logos 10 Toolbar - YouTube (great video by the way, by a forum member here named James) and I used his idea to add my Kindle highlights, Readwise,  Kindle App, and PDF/Non-Logos books to my toolbar in a folder.

I didn't think it'd be as much of a gamechanger as it actually has been considering it's only saving me three or four clicks. Having those apps in the Logos toolbar is very nice though. I have some books on Kindle that I don't on Logos, and I have always wanted to use Readwise as my highlight repository (I read a lot of epubs that I don't have on Kindle or Logos) but it's never taken the place of Logos. I've resorted to copy/pasting my highlights on my Onyx Boox into Logos, but it's a bit cumbersome (eink devices aren't too snappy). Now I can drag and drop my highlights from Kindle (still looking for a good way to do it on other apps) into my Logos notes when I am at my desktop.

Anyhow, it got me thinking, there's probably other app shortcuts that people have probably integrated into their workflow, and I'd love for some people to share theirs. Do you have any ideas for websites, apps, folders, etc that integrate well within Logos?

Probably not much. I keep my SCB simple.

A is my top eight tools...I'd rather go here and know where they are than dig around the tools menu.

    B is about 20 Bibles.

D is two important docs..."Serendipitous Notes" and "Serendipitous Clippings." I use these on the fly and later move stuff to a suitable location.

    U updates my active layout.

The Library icon shows my library in a particular way.

The stacked books shows my Collections.

The star shows my Favorites. (And here, not the SCB, is where I keep a lot of things like websites, etc.)

    That's all.

Just for others coming across this post. There is no need to "dig around" as the top section of the tools menu is a user controlled favorites section. You may still wish to use the SCB as Doc B. does as a matter of personal preference.

Valid point...I should have been clearer. The order in which those items appears was not customizable in the past; one had to delete everything then put them in the order needed. That may have changed, and if it has, I could easily go back to the tools menu. If it hasn't, that's why I have my own.

Your memory is better than mine - I don't remember ever not being able to drag and drop to put them in the order I wanted. I just tested it and the order is totally customizable.

Good news.  I'll play with it and see if I can't simplify my toolbar even further.

"Toolbare." My new sniglet for a very simple toolbar, LOL.

The concordance tool is one of my favorites. I will open a book (or have it already open), and run the concordance, and set it to sort to 'works cited' then to 'by count.' then that will show me what are the top books that this author has used to make this book. Then that usually leads to lots of rabbit trails I enjoy.

What a perfectly smart idea.  Thanks.
