Erros in the search code

I have a whole slew of books in my ibidem database with the phrase "old testament" in the title. When I type either "Old Testament" or "old testament" and then click on the "title" button, it returns a list of 25 records from my database.

When I do the exact same search via ^T, both return 149 records.

I have reindexed my database several times, yet there is no difference: the two methods produce exactly the same results.

So what is the difference between these two methods of searching? Why should I trust the "Quick Search" toolbar at all if it produces such disparate results?

This is making me loose confidence in the Quick Search toolbar.

These are the forums for Logos Bible Software, made by Faithlife.

Ibidem database? That is other software, not Logos. As far as I'm aware it is part of Nota Bene, right? There is no ^T command to search in Logos, nor any Quick Search toolbar (though that is a feature of Ibidem). Are you asking this question on the right forum?

As an IT support technician since the mid 90's, I'm not used to being on the "awkward" side of a tech conversation. Thank you for the same kindness/grace (see below) which I have had for MOST of those I was on the "IT professional" side of such conversations! My asking for tech support from FaithLife thoughtlessly went in the wrong direction when I, in frustration, launched my browser and clicked on my Logos shortcut at the top of the browser screen. It simply went downhill after that "brain fart."

To give you another chuckle. Shortly after I began doing tech support in '95, I took a support call from someone. It became very frustrating pretty immediately. No matter what question I asked, I received absolutely no helpful reply. After about 15 minutes I said, "Whenever I try to help someone over the phone the person I am talking to becomes my eyes. I'm sorry to say that during this phone call I think I have become blind!
